IP Alarm Receiver

The IP Alarm receiver allows to receive and react to alarm messages sent via the network.

Creating a new IP Alarm Receiver

Open the context menu with a right mouse click on IP alarm receiver and select create new object. Within the dialog insert the name for your new object.

After entering the object name the configuration panel will be opened.

HTTP server starts on this host:

The host used for the ip alarm receiver, see System overview.

IP address

The IP address of the server.

Port

The port used for IP alarming.

User

The user name used for authenticating the IP alarm.

Password

Password of the user.

Associated camera

Camera that should be used for the IP alarm object, see Creating cameras.

Control Protocol

The used protocol. Possible values are:

  • Generic TCP
  • Panasonic
  • RIVA

TCP server

Defines if the object is used as TCP server or TCP client.

Overview

The settings for the IP alarm receiver can be displayed by a left mouse click on the appropriate object in the video object explorer.

Type

Is given by the system and is always IP alarm receiver.

State

The current state of the object.

Parameter

Overview over the parameters configured for the IP alarm receiver object.

Configuring an IP Alarm
