Analog camera via external crossbar

The following panel is displayed if you select analog cameras via external crossbars.

Activates/deactivates the camera in the system.

This option enables a permanent connection of the camera via a pool encoder. In most cases this option is not used for this operating mode.

Defines the connection to the crossbar.

In this combo box one of the existing crossbars can be selected.

All pool names defined for encoder pool channels of the selected crossbar are displayed in this area. With the arrow buttons you can assign the pool names to or remove them from the device.

Shows pool names which are assigned to the device.

Since it is not predictable via which encoder the camera is connected during operation, the number of streams available on the encoder must be specified here.

Defines the PTZ control of the camera.

If set, PTZ commands for the camera are sent to the crossbar.

If set, the PTZ commands are sent to an external device which must be configured.

The configuration of the PTZ control is the same as described in the chapter Configuration of analog cameras via encoder.
