Installation of WinCC OA Excel Report for projects created before Excel Report has been installed

The Excel Report button is available for all projects created after the Excel Report has been installed. Unfortunately, Excel Report is deactivated in projects created before the Excel Report has been installed. However, you can add the Excel Report functionality into an existing project as follows:

To update an existing project:

  1. Copy the entire folder
    <wincc_oa_path>/data/xls_report
    and all of its contents to your project
    <WinCC_OA_Proj>/data/xls_report
  2. Start your WinCC OA project. If the project is already running, just restart the GEDI.

    You can find the Excel Report button under System Management > Reports > Excel Report
