Features of the WinCC OA Excel Reports

Feature Description
Query of the archive structure The Excel report can now query the archive structure of the AC types "independent" directly. An export through the AC configuration panel is no longer necessary.
Alias and description are included in the templates Alias and description of the single data points are queried when added into a template. The alias and description are included in the template. When the reports are created, this information will be updated automatically.
Unit and formats are included in the templates In addition to the alias and description, also the format and unit of the single data points are added into the template and updated automatically. In the case of AC types, this information is read from the .value data point element. You can choose if the cells in a report should be formatted automatically based on this information.
Track changes The changes of created reports can be archived and presented in an excel sheet. This can be set when configuring the template. The individual sheets cannot be protected against changes (this protection will only be activated when the changes should not be tracked).
Identifying the user who activated the generation of a report Each report records how the report has been generated (scheduled, manually created or triggered by WinCC OA = automatic report generation) and who initiated its generation.
