Requirements

Correctly installed WinCC OA version.
A valid licence for use must be available, this applies to each SNMP function individually or in combination (SNMP PMON Agent, SNMP Live Agent, SNMP Manager).

Tip: For information on the supported platforms for the SNMP driver see Supported Platforms of the main Drivers.

Important: The engineering/configuration of the driver must take place on the local machine. Configuration from a remote system is not supported.

A standard installation of WinCC OA is sufficient for using SNMP. See chapter Installation for information on how to install WinCC OA.
