Ending backup

When the backup mode has been left, the Data Manager carries out the following actions:

  1. The value "ON" is written to the status line again. If the Data Manager is terminated at this time, the database is repaired on restart.
  2. The database is opened.
  3. Saving of the last value is initialized.
  4. The DataBG is started.
Note: This step (Starting the DataBG) is only relevant for RAIMA projects.
  5. The BackupStatus is set accordingly (0 if backup is correct).

As the DataBG cannot process any messages until it has completed initialization, messages are buffered until the first message of the DataBG has arrived. In addition, messages are buffered as long as the message buffer is not empty, to ensure the correct order of the messages. After this, any messages that occur are processed in the usual manner.

If the Data Manager goes into emergency mode during the backup mode, it stays in EM.

The emergency mode can only be left by restarting the Data Manager. This also applies if the EM was reached through direct user input. You can prevent the hard disk from being checked using the config entry checkDiskSpace.
