WCCILevent - IMPL/WARNING - Could not connect the parameters, please check the dpFunction

Enclosed you'll find the explanation for a log message which can occur during startup. The log-message is written to the PVSS_II.log-file.

Log message with symbolic names:

The log message describes that the configuration of the datapoint function for the given DP element is not correct. The datapoint elements which are defined as input parameters do not exist and the function cannot connect to the elements.

Check the configuration of the datapoint function and correct it to solve this problem.

When opening the configuration panel for the datapoint function in the PARA module you might see a log message which describes that the DPE ID cannot be resolved to a DPE name.

In the panel the entries with missing datapoints are displayed only with the parameter name (e.g. p3) and the “=”-character. The DPE name is displayed as an empty string.
