License Portal Interface
The License Portal Interface provides centralized access to group- and license management functions. Its intuitive layout allows users to navigate between groups, projects, and related administrative features efficiently.
Overview
The License Portal Interface provides access to group and license management features. The main interface is divided into a navigation sidebar and a main content area. The navigation sidebar on the left displays all your available groups and projects, whereas within the main area on the right side the configuration options for the selected group or project element are displayed. Depending on the selected type of node (group or project), different elements are available, see overview below.
Group View
The Group View provides a streamlined overview of group-related resources, facilitating easy access to key group data and administrative actions. The individual sections are described in more detail below.
Available Licenses
In the Available Licenses section, you will find the list of licenses currently available to the group. This includes the Article Name used for precise identification within the system, as well as its common name designation (e.g. WinCC OA – Server basic).
Projects
This section shows the projects associated with the group. Descriptions of the individual projects can contain additional relevant details, creating a better overview.
Groups
The Groups section lists all subgroups contained within the currently selected main group. New subgroups can be created and administered here.
Users
Currently registered users are displayed in this section. The individual entries can be edited to contain detailed information about their assigned roles within the group, as well as contact information.
Pending Invitations
When new users are invited into the group, the invitations that have not been accepted yet are shown in this section. All entries are shown with the date of their creation as well as an expiration time.
Information
This section provides general information about the selected group.
Project View
The Project view offers a comprehensive overview of the licenses, license containers, assigned users, pending invitations, and general project information.
Licenses
In the Licenses section, you will find the list of licenses currently associated with the project. Additional information is given, such as Article Name used for precise identification within the system, as well as its common name designation (e.g. WinCC OA – Server Basic). The container to which each license is currently bound is also displayed, along with the activation status.
License Container
Project-specific license containers are listed in this section, displayed with their currently associated licenses. These containers can be identified by their Container Type (Software or hardware container) and unique serial number.
Users
All users with access to the selected project are displayed in this section. The individual entries can be edited to contain detailed information about their assigned roles within the project, as well as contact information.
Pending Invitations
When new users are invited to access the project, the invitations that have not been accepted yet are shown in this section. All entries are shown with their creation- and expiration dates.
Information
The Information section displays general details about the project.
