All right, we've assigned licenses to our virtual container as you can see demonstrated here. Now, a crucial next step: after you finalize the packaging of these license options within this virtual container, you need to release the changes for them to become public. You'll find this important Release Changes button located right up there.
Why is this particular step necessary? When you are actively moving licenses into a virtual container, the project itself will temporarily lock down. This is to ensure nobody can interfere during this critical configuration moment.
So to be absolutely sure that your assigned license options and finalized packaging are saved, you must click on Release Changes. With that action, your project is now successfully published.
And you'll immediately see this update in your WinCC OA server project. In the License Container section, your virtual container will clearly display all its assigned licenses.
