Hello everyone and welcome to this special video about the license portal. And who says special video says special guest, and that's why today we have our CFO with us, Julia Frey. Thank you for being with us.

Hi Mon, thanks for having me.

So Julia, we have been hearing a lot about the license portal lately. So can you tell us really what the license portal is about?

Well, the license portal is the new license handling tool which we proudly introduced this year, and we presented it already at the Developer Days 2025 in Prague.

All right. Well, from my knowledge we already had a license mechanism that our users were using for their multiple projects. So really, why did we switch to this new license portal tool?

In the past, we had multiple WinCC OA license tickets spread across emails. We had manual tracking of tickets and dealing with unstructured data. So we really got a lot of feedback from our customers and partners. And of course, we wanted to make the customer journey with WinCC OA easier. So what we're doing with this WinCC OA license portal, we are giving back time to our customers so that they can focus on what they can do best: creating beautiful WinCC OA projects.

Well guys, as you heard from our CFO, your feedback—hearing it, using it to optimize your journey—is really one of our core values. But I have like one last question for you. What are really the benefits of using the license portal, really, like concretely?

Within the license portal, you have all your licenses right at hand. Upon a new delivery, you will get an automatic notification via email. You log into the portal and you will have a very structured overview of all your licenses of WinCC OA within your organization. You can structure it the way you need it. You can create projects, you can create groups, and you can also add new users from your organization, invite them to the portal, and manage your permissions just as you need it.

All right. Well, now I understand why we switched to that. It's really the place where you handle your licenses: better overview, better structure, better usability. And don't worry guys, for handling the license portal, you're not alone because we prepared a set of content to explain to you how to utilize it.

I will start by speaking about the use case videos. Currently, we have four, and in these four videos, we explain the whole workflow from getting your invitation to the license portal until activating your first license in your server.

In addition to that, we thought about you because your time is precious, and we have also prepared what we call skills videos. The skills videos are just some small parts from the use case videos that explain really what you need. So for example, you want to do a step in the license portal—let's say inviting a user. You just go check the skill video about the invitation and that's it.
