Let's get started on creating projects. You'll find this important section on the left side of your screen, right at the bottom of the navigation tree. Projects are key for organizing your WinCC OA containers efficiently, helping you keep everything structured and easy to find.

Imagine your setup has top-level groups like "Available Licenses" and then more specific subgroups such as a Tunnel group or Wastewater group. Projects fit neatly within these subgroups.

Here's a simple breakdown to create a project. First, navigate to the relevant group. For example, you might go to the Tunnel group and then select Austria. Once in your desired group, select the Projects option. Click to add a new project. Give your project a clear name like "WinCC OA Server 1" and add a helpful description such as "Located in Vienna."

You can easily repeat these steps for other locations—perhaps adding "WinCC OA Server 2" in the France group, noting it's located in Paris. Once added, you'll see the group icons update, visually confirming your new project.

It's important to remember that projects represent the lowest level in this hierarchy. You cannot create further subgroups beneath them. And just like that, you've successfully created your projects to keep everything neatly organized.
