Useful tools and enhancements for special demands.
The integration of video technology into modern automation and control systems has become increasingly important for organizations seeking to enhance security and operational efficiency. The WinCC OA video feature is designed to incorporate video surveillance and monitoring capabilities into your automation environment, providing a powerful toolset for real-time observation, analysis, and incident response. The video functionality within WinCC OA enables users to visualize live camera feeds, review recorded footage, and interact with video streams directly from the familiar user interface. This integration eliminates the need for separate video management systems, thereby streamlining workflows and reducing complexity for operators and administrators alike.

Recipe Management Systems are used for managing and storing the set points and commands of automated systems defined by numerous datapoint elements. Even when simulating or testing an application, a relatively large number of set points or input values need to be sent to the peripheral devices by the control system. In these and other situations such a tool represents a great simplification.
The main task of the scheduler is to allow you to create, configure and administrate a number of schedules of either time or event triggered actions.
Maintenance is a necessity wherever different pieces of equipment are used. For example, drives, valves, motors, where it is necessary to perform maintenance work at specific intervals so as to ensure proper functioning. But prolonging the service life of equipment by means of regular maintenance and cost reduction are also key factors in plant engineering and automation technology.
The WinCC OA feature SmartSCADA provides two packages: the Analytics package and the KPI framework.
The Advanced Maintenance Suite includes applications for managing alarm datapoints and linking them to checklists.
The Advanced Playback Manager offers the possibility to play back a real-time system's status in a test simulation, including snapshot-, playback- and training sequences.
