Scope of Examination:

Development process, system architecture and functionality of safety relevant software-manager according to certificate annex.

Examined according to:

DIN EN 61508-1 (VDE 0803 part 1):2011-02 (where applicable)
DIN EN 61508-3 (VDE 0803 part 3):2011-02, SIL 1 to SIL 3

Examination result:

The product WinCC OA from release 3.16 to release 3.x was voluntarily verified according to the standards mentioned above. The product conforms with the requirements for application as SCADA System together with safety-related systems up to a safety integrity level of SIL 3. The conditions of verification report No. TS.IS.505031178.FSM.TR.ETM have to be observed for operation.
