Which time format does WinCC OA use internally?

Internally WinCC OA uses UTC time in order to avoid problems with different time zones.

The drivers that handle data without timestamps also use UTC (the timestamp is generated by the driver).
Drivers that handle data with timestamps assumes that the stamps are based on the local time and convert it to UTC internally before forwarding the data to the event manager.
