Has WinCC OA a guaranteed operational availability?

ETM does not guarantee any availability for a WinCC OA project since this depends on the interaction of various components, such as hardware, operating system, network, project engineering etc.

Nevertheless WinCC OA is used successfully in projects needing high or highest availability, such as traffic control systems, power plants or subways.

WinCC OA offers a variety of technologies ensuring the control system´s high availability in security relevant facilities: A secure communication (protected response channel) via TCP/IP, Hot-Standby-Redundancy, redundant network connections, redundant devices and many more.
