Problems with CommCenter

Post by janci75 »

Hello !

I have installed WinCC 3.11 SP1 with CommCenter and want to configure domains and alarm groups.

Problem : By clicking CommCenter ccMainPanel/Parametring expected dialog doesn't came.
In log file I see the following error messages :

WCCOAui (2), 2013.08.21 15:37:30.750, CTRL, SEVERE, 176, Uncaught exception in thread started at main:
WCCOAui (2), 2013.08.21 15:37:30.750, CTRL, SEVERE, 72, Function not defined,
Module: WinCC_OA(1)
Panel: C:\\Siemens\\Automation\\WinCC_OA\\3.11\\CommCenter_3.11\\panels\\vision\\CC\\ccMain.pnl []
Object: 173 named: "cmdccParametring" of type: PUSH_BUTTON
Script: Clicked
Line: 15, ccCheckPermissions
Stacktrace:
1: main() at [Module: WinCC_OA(1) Panel: vision\\CC\\ccMain.pnl Object: cmdccParametring Script: Clicked]:15

By grep of scripts delivered with CommCenter I can find no definition of ccCheckPermissions function.

Similar error message I get when I'm trying to start ControlManager for CommCenter (ccController.ctl).
WinCC was reinstalled several times so it seems that installation has come to the end with Ok result.
WinCC on my notebook is running under demo license. On PC with dongle I can get the Parametring dialog, but again cannot start
the control manager for CommCenter with the error message shown above.

Any help is welcome.

Thanks
Jan

Hello,

to be able to use the communication center you have to ensure that the necessary steps for the installation are performed.
Please have a look at the online-help: AddOns --> Communication Center --> Requirements and installation.

Some of the scripts for the communication center are encrypted, therefore you will not get a result when searching for a specific function.

Hello !

Thank you. We rechecked the installation and problem was missing license file.
