wincc oa 3.20 -cant start console

I've installed it on win 2016 server.
tried to run console but it doesn't go up.
no log file is created.
gave all permission needed.
reinstalled it but no use.

the last WinCC OA major version which did support Windows 2016 Server was WinCC OA 3.17.
From WinCC OA 3.18 upwards the official Windows Server was already 2019.

The WinCC OA 3.20 you are now using does already just support Windows 2022 Server:

Therefore I would assume this is related to the old OS you are using and I would strongly suggest to not run WinCC OA on this old OS. It is essential to always stick to the supported OS of the WinCC OA version related as otherwise it will not be supported and trouble-free operation cannot be guaranteed.

It is not about if it works or not.
Its about if it is supported or not.
If you run your WinCC OA system on an unsupported version there is no guarantee as it is not tested. This might also be an issue regarding safety and insurance.

If you require a special release for a specific operating system, please send us a support request. If it is possible to support this OS, tests can be carried out to ensure that this OS is usable for WinCC OA. However, this is associated with costs.

As mentioned in a previous post you find the information for the supported operating systems in the WinCC OA Documentation.
If a specific build is not mentioned there is no limitation for it.
