Animating position in a referenced panel

We have created an object panel which contains a rectangle that has a position animation. We are attempting to use this as a panel reference in our main panel.

When the object panel is placed in the main panel, the rectangle position is animated relative to the main panel.
How can we make the rectangle animate position relative to the object panel?

When you want to change the position by a defined offset you can first read the current position, add the offset and set then the new position.
Then it does not make a difference if it is used as own panel or as a reference.
