Radiobutton zoom issue 3.15p18

Post by ivan141 »

Hi there,

I just updated my WinCCOA 3.15 development station from patch 15 to patch 18 and the first thing I notice is
that the text on a radio button on my projects splash page is no longer zooming out along with the panel it is in.
So everything is scaled smaller, but I'm still looking at the exact same font size in the radio button (which doesnt fit it's new size obviously).
Double checked this on a second machine, and it too went from scaling correctly to the above behaviour.

Can anyone confirm if something has been changed in the radio button control (couldnt find it with a quick search in the release notes)?

The following note from patch 18 does sound like it might actually be referring to a problem with the radio button I've reported last year:
48628/1-5389488806: If items are added dynamically to a checkbox a
wrong font-setting is displayed.
But as you can see it says checkbox, not radiobutton (so maybe I'm just grasping at straws here). I'm sure I've had that exact problem with the radio button though.

Posted this here because I'm already behind on following up my last call to your support department and this is just a minor inconvenience.

Correction: I installed patch 19, not 18.

I have tested it and compared the result with 3.15 without any patches.
At the tests I have seen a different behaviour for radio buttons and checkboxes when a panel is zoomed. I have forwarded this information to our development department.
