Ewo Window Handler

Post by martin.jelemensky »

I would like to ask how can i define a handler for the ewo object in wincc oa. The problem that i have is that i need to play a live stream of a camera in the ewo object. I was able to connect to the camera and everything looks fine, however the only problem i am having is how to define were the live stream should be played. As far i now the ewo object in wincc oa is only defined by the "name". I went through a lot of the Qt functions but non of them worked to give me the correct window handler (definitely i can be wrong). Are there any easy ways how to say in ewo "please play the stream in this object" ?

In this topic you can find an example of a video player ewo. Or try the compiled version of this topic.

Thank you for the answer. I also found those topics, however, they did not help me much. The problem I am still having is that I need to pass the window handler into a special function provided by other people which is defined as ( void * handler ). I have tried some conversions to HWND but none of them helped also tried ( https://stackoverflow.com/questions/140 ... 5-from-wid ) without success.
