Error message when trying to add image to my profile

I get an error message when I try to add an image to my profile, either as a jpg or png file.
Error: PHP running on your server does not support GD graphics library version 2.x, please install GD version 2.x or switch to another images library in Community Builder Configuration.
Our SysAdm thinks this is a problem of the ETM server.
Any suggestions?

we've asked our administrator if this is a problem of the ETM Portal and if there is a solution.
When we got the answer you'll get an update.
