According to the information from our test team the following versions are supported with WinCC OA 3.16
Oracle Server 12.2.0.2
Oracle Client 12.2.0.1 / 12.2.0.2

Hello,

Is it possible to connect Oracle Client 12.1.0.2.0 with the Oracle Database 11g Release 11.2.0.1.0 on WinCC OA 3.16 P03? I am trying to do it, but every time when I try to start RDB Archive Manager, I get the following messages in log:

WCCOArdb (97), 2018.10.10 15:46:15.179, SYS, INFO, 61, Cannot open file, Oracle Client Version 12 failed to load, try to load Oracle Client Version 11
WCCOArdb (97), 2018.10.10 15:46:15.179, SYS, FATAL, 2, Manager Stop, OCCI loading error. Check the Oracle Client! Could not load Version 11
WCCOArdb (97), 2018.10.10 15:46:15.179, SYS, FATAL, 2, Manager Stop, OCCI loading error. Check the Oracle Client Version and the config entry "oracleClientVersion"!

I can connect to database with the Oracle Client 12.1.0.1.0 on the other server.

Please note that Oracle Database 11g Release 11.2.0.1.0 server is NOT supported in WinCC OA 3.16 P03.
Please upgrade your database to 12.2.02 version.

I want to try WinCC-OA 3.14 RDBManager with Oracle, but I only can install express edition.

Does WinCC-OA 3.14 support Oracle XE release 11.2.0.2.0 (11gR2) ?

I made the try.
The main problem is that in XE java isn't available, so i tried with use_java = 'no' and edited listener.ora to link external C-DLL.

The schema was created, but some errors resulted (see attached log).

Could you help me?
