Opening new broswer tab from ULC UX.

Post by dependra.rathore@lntebg.com »

Hi Experts,

I am tring to open new tab from ULC ux, as openUrl doesn't work for ULC ux, I tried to do it through loading html page in webview in ULC ux, link is appreaing in webview in ULC Ux after setting ulcClientSideWidget to false, but nothing happens on clicking that link.

Any work around for this??

Background :- We are using excel reports in our project, as generating excel report from ulc ux is not possible, we are trying to link url of desktop UI generated report with ulc ux.

Please suggest.

Thank you in advance.

Hi
We have sort of the same issue. We want to save a file using a link in a page loaded by the WebView.ewo. But it seems to be blocked to some sandbox-state. Any workarounds?

Opening a new tab with a script started from the WinCC OA ULC UX is running is not possible.
This is a known restriction of the ULC UX.

Running ULC UX means the UI itself runs on the server, and commands like printscreen, savescreen and save *.csv (alarms, trends) are executed on the server. We cannot plug a Usb-drive into a ULC UX client and save the files to it. We might be able to use the web-browsers print function to print a hardcopy of the screen but for the rest we would need a solution?
