Re: Decrypt a panel without get in GEDI
If you want to descrypt panels from the command line you can start the WCCOAui process with appropriate options.

Re: Decrypt a panel without get in GEDI
The UI does not provide an option to decrypt all panels. Even in the gedi encrypted panels can only be edited if the 'password protection for gedi' option was used. If the panel can be edited then it should also be possible to save it without encryption.
If a backup of the unencrypted panels is available it would be the fastest way. By default the gedi creates a backup on encryption if the backup option is not disabled.
If these options are not possible you could try the support.

Re: Decrypt a panel without get in GEDI
Hi morning. I tried to force a "-decrypt" option for WCCOAui, but of course it doesn't exist, also the url you've linked me does not contain any reference to a decrypt procedure...leoknipp wrote: ↑Wed Jan 29, 2025 8:59 am If you want to descrypt panels from the command line you can start the WCCOAui process with appropriate options.

Hi morning, exactly. The only way provided by a collegue is to open the encrypted panel and "Save As" another one because we didn't find any reference to the decrypt command for commandgschijndel wrote: ↑Wed Jan 29, 2025 10:11 am The UI does not provide an option to decrypt all panels. Maybe, and I hope so, there is and simply I didn't find it
Re: Decrypt a panel without get in GEDI
I thought you will encrypt panels, this is the common use case.
Do you want to decrypt or encrypt panels?
Encryption can be done within the UI or with the command line.
A decryption is not possible. The only possibility is to decrypt a panel if the options was set to allow a decryption in GEDI with a defined password.

Re: Decrypt a panel without get in GEDI
So basically doesn't exist a command line to do that?
Re: Decrypt a panel without get in GEDI
Are you using the option to decrypt an panel in GEDI by entering a password?
Or do you want to decrypt a panel without the special option to use a password for decryption?

Re: Decrypt a panel without get in GEDI
I have the password to edit encrypted panels.
My question is about to remove encryption using the password via command line.
I know that once opened an encrypted panel using GEDI, I can save the panel with another name (or location) in order to have the same panel but without the encryption. This method is obviously tedious and not applicable on a large scale project.
So I'm asking for alternative methods to do a decrypt without use this complex route.
