Hi,
I'm unable to remove the Acknowledge all visible option from the alert screen's context menu.
All other options under Context menu settings in General AES settings can be enabled/disabled using the checkboxes. However the Acknowledge all visible option cannot be disabled
How can we disable the Acknowledge all visible option?
Is there a way to disable the entire context menu?
Thank you
Yasas

Re: Unable to remove the "Acknowledge all visible" option from the alert screen context menu
I have tested it in WinCC OA 3.20 P003 and there is no context menu shown when all checkboxes for the context menu are disabled.
Please check which version you are using and if a modified AEScreen (panel + libraries) is used in your project.

Re: Unable to remove the "Acknowledge all visible" option from the alert screen context menu
Hi,
Thank you very much for checking this. I was previously on 3.20 P001, now I have updated to P003. Unfortunately this issue is still there for me,
I have attached some screenshots of this behaviour when the alert panel is accessed through the gedi.
In our application we have embedded vision\aes\AEScreen.pnl without any modifications and supplied 1 as the value for the $ACTION parameter, when this panel initially loads it works correctly and does not display the context menu. However as soon as we set a filter and refresh, context menu starts to show up with the Acknowledge all visible option
(When accessing the alert panel through gedi, it initially comes up blank. When the start/refresh button is clicked alarms appear on the screen and the context menu is displayed incorrectly)

Re: Unable to remove the "Acknowledge all visible" option from the alert screen context menu
I have now also tested it with 3.20 P003 and the context menu was initially displayed (after removing all checkboxes).
After restarting the user interface (which is essential when changing settings like this) the menu disappeared.
Please restart the user interface and test it again.
Br, Herbert

Thanks,
I have restarted the Alert panel. When our embedded AEScreen panel is initially loaded, the context menu is not visible. It actually starts appearing after restarting.
Also, changing any other checkbox works as expected. Only the Acknowledge all visible option stays visible even after the checkbox is unchecked.

You must restart the entire UI Manager for the configuration to take effect not just the AEScreen.

Figured out what was missing. Needed the highlighted option in Global Settings checked (screenshot below)
Didn't need to restart anything
