Hello everyone,
I was reading about how to manage known temporary alarms, for maintanance reasons or whatever. I found the de-/escalation option to change the alert class at runtime, but this requieres RDB, and we use NGA versions. Does this option will be available for NGA in a future? Or are any similar mechanism to manage this king of problems?
I think this de-/escalation option can be really useful for some cases.
Thanks!

Can you please give us the information where you have found the information you are referring to.
I searched the documentation for WinCC OA 3.20 and I cannot find it.

Re: de-/escalation of the alert
Sure,
Home / Module PARA / Data point configs, basics / _alert_class (Alert class)
Section: Changing the Alert Class at Runtime
There can u read that de-/escalation is possible if RDB is used.

Thanks for the information. I found the chapter you are talking about.
It is not planned to implement an NGA support for this feature in near future.

Thanks for the reply.
Then I will do something using discrete alert_hdls and user bits, to be able to manage this known/long time alarms.
