RHEL 3.17 with Wibu Key

Hi,

WinCC OA V3.17 works on a MS Windows system with Wibu Key Dongle when an older version has been installed before.
On RHEL 8.2 I tried that as well by installing the base rpm package with --nodeps since the required libraries are for RHEL 7, but not RHEL 8.
But that was not sucessful.

In the "Installation dir/bin/" directory of V3.17 there are the two library files:
- libwibucm.so
- libwk.so
In V3.17 directory only the second library file is present.

Does anyone has an idea how to get V3.17 accept the old Wibu Key dongle on a RHEL 8.2 system?

The file libwibucm.so seems to be related to the new Wibu CodeMeter technology which is the solution in 3.17 and newer version when dongles shall be used.
If you want to use new CodeMeter Dongles please get in contact with your WinCC OA sales contact.
