Need to acknowledge/ get rid of alarms

Post by jonred »

Hello,

In a project in production, the are appearing inactive alarms that can't be acknowledged.
When triyin it in the AE Screen, i get the message "This is not the oldest alert - not possible to acknowledge".
in the log, i get this type of line for every non acknowledgeable alarm:
"PVSS00event (0), 2019.11.13 11:37:38.697, PARAM,SEVERE, 23, Setting/modifying attributes failed, DP: System1:TC_ML3_SAISV_NVM_SAI01.señalizacion.alarmas.fallo_bypass:_alert_hdl.._ack_state".
In PARA, the acknowledge button is disabled.

I've tried to:
1) USe the "-repair alerts" option in the data manager. No effect
2) Disable the alert handling config, change it and acknowledge in PARA (Change from continuous to discrete, then from discrete to continous.). It works in that moment, but if the project is restarted, the alarms appear again, is generated as soon as the project starts.
3) delete and reimport the dp without history, same as before.
4) force the acknowledge with this method of the knowledge base: https://www.winccoa.com/knowledge-base/ ... alarm.html. I get this error in the log:
"PVSS00ui (1), 2019.11.13 11:17:55.380, CTRL, WARNING, 76, Invalid argument in function,
Module: _QuickTest_
Panel: F:\WinCC_OA_Proj_3_10\RedundanteServer_MLO_V51_ND\panels\main.pnl []
Object: 5 named: "PUSH_BUTTON2" of type: PUSH_BUTTON
Script: Clicked
Line: 52, alertSet, Couldn't convert to DpIdentifier"

I am having others problems, like showing false alarms. Its like the alarm get stuck, and don't go to normal state.

But for now, how can i enforce the acknowledge or get rid of those alarms?

Thank you very much

With the repair option "-repair alerts" you can only solve the problem which is documented during startup with the log message "no gone alert between two came ones".

Possibly you can get rid of the alarms by using the following instructions:

Thnak you Leopold, I checked it in a local project and it worked perfectly.
Next week i'll try it in production and provide feedback.
