Remote OPC driver in redundant project

Post by nedzad »

Hello,

I am using a redundant project running od OpenSuse Linux, with remote project running an OPC driver on Windows machine. I have a problem with setting this remote project to work with my redundant system. I followed the instructions from this link:
viewtopic.php?f=16&t=51&sid=6f20e7c224a ... 45ab54167a

I have the statuses from both systems that the OPC driver is connected, but data is not written in datapoints.

Any ideas what do I need to do to configure is properly? I am using WinCC OA 3.15 P019.

What is meant "data is not written in datapoints"?
Which datapoint elements are you talking about?

If you have meant dp elements with an input address please check if you have used the correct driver number and if the addresses are active.

Driver number and addresses are correct, it works when I use them in non-redundant system.

Attached you will find the log files from both servers. As I can see, the driver reads the correct values from OPC server, but it does not write them into dp elements with assigned addresses.
