I have a table which fills with all the running and scheduled observations.
Which was perfect when it was 4 or 5 observations that where scheduled, nice and uncomplicated looking.
But now people are actually using the system, and the table fills up to roughly 250 scheduled observations.
And as an observation can be scheduled every moment, it looks for new observations and fills it up ~ every 20 seconds.
The annoying thing with this many scheduled runs is the scrollbar flips down then to the last entry, the observations that will start in a few days.
I want the table to stay up, not scroll down, because the observations that are running and will start are on top.
Is there an easy way to make sure it stays on top of the scrollbar, and not scroll down when it reloads the table?

Re: Table scrolls down when it loads the data
Hi,
it's possible to point the table to a defined position with a "lineVisible" property. You can use it right after updating your table.
Moreover, there is a property "lineRangeVisible" which returns currently visible range. You might want to use it for even smoother user experience.
Best regards,

You can do
if you have 3.15 Patch 3 or newer or 3.16
3.15 Patch 3 Readme
Code: Select all
TABLE1.stop(true);3.15 Patch 3 Readme

a table from automatic scrolling to the bottom when lines are
inserted or updated by using the "stop" attribute, e.g.
"<tableShape>.stop(true);".
