Alarms Count

Good day all ,

I want to ask if there is away to get active alarms count from collection of data points (more than 10000 data point), and this value to be monitored continuously (I don't want to use dpquery , need something like dpConnect()or alertConnect())

However i am asking this to build dashboard that shows alarms count for each group of equipment.

You can configure a summary alert for each group of equipment which includes the dp elements for every equipment.
By doing a connect on the attributes _alert_hdl.._summed_* you can get the number of pending alerts for every summary alert.
