Good day!
We faced a problem with the project autostart under Linux.
The project has to be started on each start of a Linux OS.
I use the following command in the terminal according to the WinCC OA online-help file:
chkconfig --add pvss
The service is started on the levels 3 and 5.
I also make changes in the pvss.conf file according to the online help:
PVSS_II = /opt/WinCC_OA/3.10/DemoApplication_3.10/config/config
Full access permissions are given to all the directories.
After a system reboot I execute the following command in the terminal:
chkconfig pvss
I get the result:
pvss on
It looks like the service is started.
I check the service with the command:
service pvss
I get such a result:
/etc/pvss.conf: line 1: PVSS_II: command not found
PVSS project to start not defined
Then I check the service with the help of a graphical interface, starting the system application “System services (Runlevel)”
Result:
pvss service is permitted but not launched
I try to start it manually (under superuser/with administrator’s rights)
Result:
/etc/init.d/pvss start returned 6 (the application is not configured)
From my point of view the pvss.conf file is not edited properly.
