Some error after installing p112 to 3.9

Post by mustafa.toker@siemens.com »

We began to get the following errors in the log file after we had installed patch 112 to PVSS 3.9. Actually, we have done nothing with IEC. We only have S7 and SNMP driver.

Should we need to concern about it? :(

PVSS00event (0), 2011.10.29 15:13:35.358, PARAM,WARNING, 8, Element does not exist, EvManager, processFwdDps, _Iec.Connections

Hello Mr. Toker,

when installing the patches you have to look at the readme-files if "Additional installation steps" are necessary.
At the readme-file for the patch P107 (included in P112) it is described that the file dplist/IECEnhance.txt has to be imported using the ASCII-manager.
Please make an import of the file and check if the log-messages are gone.

Please notice that the ETM Portal does not substitute the common PVSS/WinCC OA-support.
For the future please report problems/product questions to the official support-mail-address support.automation@siemens.com.
At the topic or at the beginning of your mail please write the information which software/version you are using, e.g. WinCC OA, 3.10.

Best Regards
