Thanks Leopold. We've written our own function based on that method.

How to Reset User Password in 3.11?
Hi all, In version 3.11 is it possible to reset the password of a user? For example, if a user has forgotten his password. In version 3.15 there is a "reset" button, but this is not present in 3.11. This means that if a user forgets his password it seems to be necessary to create a new use...

Re: How to set position of object in panel reference?
<t>Thanks Leopold. <br/> <br/> Yes, I agree that is a possible method. Reading the current position of the object itself can have some disadvantages though, depending on the application. When the reading is repeated (for example if it is triggered on a DP-connect to represent a process value), the o...

How to set position of object in panel reference?
<r>Hi all, <br/> <br/> We have one panel which contains a rectangle (Panel_1). This panel is referenced inside another panel (Panel_2). <br/> <br/> We would like to set the position of the rectangle in a script on Panel_1 using something like "<I><s></s>this.position(x,y);<e></e></I>"<br/> <b...

System Overview Screen - one redundant partner disappears
<t>Hi all, <br/> <br/> We have a redundant, distributed system and can't figure out an issue with the System Overview screen. <br/> <br/> For System 2 only, when the "left" redundant partner is preferred, the DM, EV and manager details of the "right" partner all disappear. When the "right" partner i...

Re: How to Mass Create Panel Topology? Problems with $-parameters.
<t>The solution to this problem is as follows: <br/> <br/> The _PanelTopology.sumAlertNumber element values must be equal to the panelNumber values. Quite why, I have no idea. For some reason the PT_cascade0_1 object is opening the panel based on the sumAlertNumber of node being clicked on, not on t...

How to Mass Create Panel Topology? Problems with $-parameters.
<r>Hi all, <br/> <br/> We're creating a large (~2000 node) panel topology using a mass-creation through the ASCII editor to create the PanelTopology datapoint. <br/> <br/> The mass creation appears to work fine, the datapoint is configured as expected, and the topology displays correctly using the "...

Is there a library of time manipulation functions available for use?
<t>Hi all, <br/> <br/> <br/> We have a requirement to manipulate some time variables. For example, add or subtract seconds, minutes, hours, days, months or years from a given time. <br/> <br/> We've looked through the built in time functions and have not found functions which do this pre-existing. <...

ASCII Editor Exports are Blank
<r>Hi all, <br/> <br/> A server we've set up is exporting only blank ASCII export files. That is, the files are 0kb and have no contents. There are plenty of datapoints and we are selecting them correctly. <br/> <br/> Does anyone know how this problem is caused and how to fix it?<br/> <br/> <br/> <b...

Re: How to re-assign $parameter to panel reference in runtime, or set visibility of a panel reference?
I think I've thought of a way to do this, which is to place the panel references in separate layers, then toggle the layer visibility. Not in a position to test right now.
Regardless, is there considered to be any neater or more flexible solution to this type of problem?
