Patches for WinCC OA are more than just bug fixes. 

Continuous feature integration makes it possible to implement enhancements in several different categories into our product. To keep your software up to date, make sure to download and install the newest patch. 

NGA

The NGA API template has been refactored for improved maintainability and consistency. Existing projects created with earlier templates require manual adjustments. For migration steps, see Migrate project created with templates provided with WinCC OA 3.21.4 or older.

Web Server

webserver.js now also supports certificates from the Windows Certificate Store. Additionally, the display name in the manager administration has been changed to "Web Server" to match the existing CTRL-based web server.

UI

During ASCII import, the alarm services (e.g., alarm shelving, alarm suppression) can now be temporarily deactivated to improve performance.

Driver

The vimaccOA plugin has been updated to version 2.2.14.14.

Dashboard

The Dashboard component has been updated to version 1.2.3. This update includes functional improvements as well as security updates.

Virtualization

WinCC OA now officially supports Nutanix AHV (Acropolis Hypervisor) (AOS 7.5 / AHV 11.0.0.2) as a virtual environment. Customers running WinCC OA on Nutanix hyper-converged infrastructure can now rely on an officially tested and supported configuration.
Support for VMware ESXi/vSphere has been updated to version 9.1. VMware Tools 13.1 is now also supported.
