Patches for WinCC OA are more than just bug fixes. 

Continuous feature integration makes it possible to implement enhancements in several different categories into our product. To keep your software up to date, make sure to download and install the newest patch. 

NGA

The speed at which queries for the Alarm screen are processed when using DirectRead has been greatly increased.
“Backup&Restore” is now also supported on Linux platforms.

Drivers

EIP diver: Support for Micro800 series PLCs has been added.

Gedi

The selection of references inside of shape groups is now possible in the Shape/Group selector.

Security

A comprehensive disclaimer concerning the EU-Data Act, which has come into effect in September 2025, has been added to the documentation.
