Output options
Filter
The following check boxes specify what you want to output.
- Set/clear all filters (TDAOPHC)
- Datapoint types (T)
- + Type references
- Datapoints (D)
- + Pwr.Conf.Settgs.
- Alias and comments (A)
- Original values (D)
- Parametrization (P)
- Parametrization including timestamp (PH)
- Plantmodel (C)
- + Linked DPs
If you want to output, for example, only datapoint types, select the Datapoint types (T) checkbox. If you want to output everything, choose the Set/clear all filters (TDAOPH) option and all options are selected.
If you select the Configuration including timestamp option, the Configuration option is ignored and thus does not affect data output. So, by selecting different checkboxes, you can choose what you want to output.
If the option Plantmodel + Linked DPs is selected, the filter options data point types (P) + type references and datapoints (D) + Pwr.Conf.Settgs are automatically set as well. Therefore, it is ensured that e.g. the datapoint types of the linked datapoints are existent in other systems. Moreover, the linked DPs option adds all datapoints linked to nodes of the plant model to the DP selection list automatically.
If a datapoint type has a master datapoint (and thus also PowerConfigs), now also the necessary _dt_* datapoints of the internal datapoint type _DynamicDatapoints are exported. If the filter Original values was set, then also the corresponding dynamic attributes of the PowerConfigs (_da_*) are exported.
Format
For the export there are different options available:
-
Regular export: The defined datapoint types respectively datapoints with their structure from the database are mapped into an ASCII file. The file extension of this export is .dpl.
-
Multi language export (Format 2): Options for selecting the desired languages is displayed. If you do not select any specific languages, all languages are automatically exported. In order to add languages to the list, select a language from the combo box and click on the Add button. To delete languages, select the language and click on the Delete button. The file extension of this export is .dpl.
-
PowerConfig output 1 DP/line (Format 3): An ASCII file that contains all PowerConfigs with the dynamic attributes, is generated. There is one datapoint per line in the file (For detailed information on this format, see the chapter Templates/DP lists, basics). This option is also related with mass configuration in WinCC OA (see Mass configuration, basics). The file extension of this export is .datapoint type.ascii.
-
PowerConfig output 1 DPE/line (Format 4): An ASCII file that contains all PowerConfigs with the dynamic attributes is generated. There is one data point per line in the file (for detailed information on this format, see the chapter Templates/DP lists, basics). This option is also related with mass configuration in WinCC OA (see Mass configuration, basics). The extension of this export is .ascii.
Configs
When selecting the option Parametrization or Parametrization including history a selection window is displayed. This selector is used to define which DP configs to output.
Time
If the Start export from (time) option is selected, a time selector is displayed (see chapter ASCII panel). The Start export from (time) option is used to output only changes made after the selected date. The Now button is used to set the time to the current system time.
DP types selection
The list on the right contains all datapoint types to be output. In order to add datapoint types, select a datapoint type in the combo box below the list and click the Add button. Datapoint types are deleted from the list in the same way as data points.
DP selection
DP selection contains a list of all datapoints to be output. Click the DP selector button to add a datapoint. Select the desired datapoint using this selector. The datapoint is added to the list by clicking the Add button. In order to delete a datapoint, select the datapoint in the list and click the Delete button.
If both datapoint type(s) and datapoint(s) are selected, all selected datapoint types are exported but only the datapoints that match with one of the selected data point types are exported.
Plantmodel selection
This list contains all nodes existing in the plant model which shall be output. Click on the DP selector button and select the appropriate node. Click on the Add button to add a node to the list. Select a node an click on the delete button in order to remove it from the list.
By default, the ASCII files are saved in the directory <proj_path>/dplist.
