Requirements and installation

Installed WinCC OA version 3.8 or higher (until version 3.7.1 a conversion was only possible by using the import/export functionality).

Note that XML files of older versions than 3.8 cannot be read or converted due to the changes in the structure of the XML file.

A standard installation of WinCC OA version 3.8 or higher is sufficient for using the XML panel format. For further information on WinCC OA installation see chapter Installation.
