Static configuration (config file)

The static configuration is done via a config entry. There is just one static setting of NextGen Archiver in the config file. It is automatically created when the NGA is selected during project creation. When converting an existing project to NGA, this entry must be added manually.

Dynamic configuration (internal datapoints):

The basic configuration of the NextGen Archiver is stored in an internal datapoint called _NGA of datapoint type _NGA. Only one datapoint of this type exists. The _NGA datapoint is described in the chapter Internal Datapoints.

We strongly recommend using the NGA configuration panels for making changes and not to directly modify the internal NGA datapoint elements!
