Summary and relevant links
Using the WinCC OA Recipes tool, set point values or commands can be sent simultaneously to specific datapoint elements ("activated"). Recipes are created on the basis of "recipe types", which define the set of datapoint elements involved. The values in the recipes are sent to the datapoint elements (and thus to the peripheral devices in general) at activation.
The WinCC OA Recipes add-on is a simple-to-use tool based on the proven datapoint concept. Recipe types and their associated recipes can be created using the Recipes panels. These can be created, edited or, if no longer needed, deleted at runtime. In addition, existing DP groups can be accepted directly into recipe types. Any changes in the data structure of the recipe type are adopted directly in all recipes of this type. The recipe types are saved in the form of DPE lists. Any number of recipes can be created for one recipe type.
The functions provided by Recipes are not specific to any particular branch of industry, but are suitable for use in a vast range of applications and projects.
