Self-learning Basic Training
This comprehensive self‑learning course is designed to guide you step by step through the fundamentals of WinCC OA. By the end of the Basic Training, you will have the essential knowledge and practical skills required to successfully create and manage your own WinCC OA project independently.
The training consists of four modules, each building on the previous one to ensure a smooth learning curve and a solid understanding of key concepts:
Essentials
This module introduces WinCC OA fundamentals, including project setup, essential datapoint concepts, UI basics, and the use of alarms and archiving to display live and historical data.
Application Developer I
This module builds core skills in advanced live‑data graphics, external system and S7+ PLC integration, alert configuration, and archiving for historical visualization and trend analysis.
Application Developer II
This module develops practical library‑development skills using PARA/master datapoints, graphic references, scripting, and reusable process screens, concluding with core UI concepts and dashboards.
Application Developer III
This module deepens WinCC OA expertise by covering advanced concepts, such as mass configuration, data handling, server‑side logic, NextGen archiving, and essential troubleshooting skills.
