Currently i'm facing the issue that from an PLC I get impulses and every impulse shall increment a counter. This should be implemented in CONTROL.
This is a easy task in a PLC program because STEP7 for example provides such function blocks.
Does anybody of you has experience in that area, and may have a implementation for this available?
The issue here is that things like overflow of the counter, reset, and pre-set of the counter also need to be possible.
I'm happy for every hint.

Re: Impuls Counter implemented in Control
You can have a look at the standard function provided by WinCC OA.
Go to System Management --> Settings --> Operation Time Counter.
With the option "Switch counter" you should get what you want.
