Hi,
I am working on a redundant distributed system and am in need of some functionality where if a client loses connection to one server pair, it can switch to another server pair in a distributed system automatically.
I was wondering if the WinCC OA disaster recovery system works only with one server pair as duty and one server pair on standby, or if it could be configured to work with active servers in a distributed system.
Thanks.

Re: Disaster Recovery System
The Disaster Recovery System is a combination of 2 systems (each with redundant servers) which are connected using a distributed system.
Main function of the Disaster Recovery System is that the information on both servers is (nearly) the same as there is a function implemented which copies data from one system to the other one. There is also a function available for clients where 2 User Interfaces are running that the UI which is connected to the active system is switched into the foreground.
For details please have a look at the WinCC OA Documentation.
