Cannot manage to transfer configs from a masterdatapoint to its DPEs.

Post by Natty »

Hello,

I developed a WinCC OA (v3.14 - P05) application for the Montparnasse Paris train station. Attached files are the WinCC OA server logs.

I do not manage to transfer configs "_alert_hdl" and "_address" from a masterdatapoint to its DPEs. All the "alert_hdl" configs do appear underneath DPEs. But some DPEs heritate from an activated "alert_hdl" config when other heritate from a deactivated one. "address" configs can't be seen underneath DPE leaf. I have added severeal datapoints last few days and I didn't have this problem.

Log file show :

Do you know how to solve this problem ? I can send screenshots of the tree if needed.

Thanks in advance.

You possibly get the log message for the invalid license because you have reached the maximum number of IOs in your project. Activating additional _address configs is not possible in that case.
The limit for the IOs is defined with the license you are using in this project.

You can use the I/O counter panel (Lab --> Prototypes) to get the number of active addresses.

Thanks you. One last question, I am using redundant servers and I have a 15 000 IOs license. Does it mean I can only use 7 500 DPE (with an activated address) on each server ?

No, in a redundant system you can use the number of I/Os defined in the license.
The database is the same on both servers and every server counts therefore the complete number of I/Os.
