RDB Manager and Historical service stopped working

Hello,

Try to check the "tnsname.ora" file in the below path;

installation directory : "\\Oracle\\product\\11.2.0\\client_1\\network\\admin\\" in the WinCC OA scada server.

If tnsname.ora file is not there. Then just simply copy the file from "Oracle Server" and paste it in the above mentioned path.

After copied the same file you have modify slightly the tnsname.ora file . If you need more details please check in the WinCC OA help under "System Management" -> "Database" -> "RDB Archiving" -> "Requirements and Installation"

And try the above mentioned sql command for the connection testing.

Now the problem is Oracle client installation. You have didn't installed the Oracle client software in the Administrator mode.
