HistoryDB - archive backup

I am trying to set up an archive of Events which gets backed up when a pre-determined threshold of events is reached (e.g. 500).

I have added the “_archive” config to the DPE’s in my system as necessary but when I try to configure the target-path of where I want the backup to be stored I have struggled to get it to work.

Any ideas about the resolution?

When configuring the backup for the value archives you have to define a target path and the time when the "old" archive files shall be copied to the backup device.
At which point of the configuration have you seen the problem?

Hi Leopold,

I have set the time and also configured a test location on my local directory. I also tried this on several machines. After the time of the backup passes I check the path where I expect the backup to be but it is empty. There is also nothing appearing in the log to suggest that the process was carried out at the proposed backup time.

I have also seen this message in the configuration screen before: "Not possible to initialize data media"

I finally managed to resolve the issue. The backup works fine now.
