S7 time stamping

Hello!

I want to know if S7 protocol of WinCC OA is capable to get time stamping from S7400H. In the same way like IEC104 or DNP3 driver.
My costumer wants to see the event time stamp in the WinCC alarm log.

Hello,

if you want to get the timestamps from the PLC you have to use the S7-driver with the TSPP-extension.
For details please have a look at the online help: Drivers --> S7.

You may want to look at the SINAUT driver. SINAUT is an extension to your S7 that adds telemetry capabilities. When you compare to DNP3 or IEC then SINAUT is the closest you'll get
