Schedule access from CTRL

Is it possible to create and control parameters of a Scheduler from CTRL script?
I can create _SC and _SCCOM data instances, but don't know how to link it to UI.

The UI is used to configure the datapoints used for the Scheduler.
The configured actions for the Scheduler are executed by a CTRL manager running the CTRL script scheduler.ctc.

What is meant with "link it to UI"?
