Hi,
Is it possible to do a historical query to determine what active alarms there were at a specific point in time? For example 'what alarms were active at 15:00 yesterday?', if so how can this be achieved?
We are using the RDB manager with Oracle, if that makes any difference.
My understanding is that determining values for specific elements at a point in time is possible as the archive links the values with the datapoint elements.
However the alarm archive is a log of messages, so you can see what changed over time but not necessarily what was active at a particular point in time.
Thank you,
Chris
Can you determine active alarms at a point in time?

Re: Can you determine active alarms at a point in time?
With WinCC OA standard functions you cannot determine which alarms were active/pending for a specific point of time.
By doing a historical query for a given time range you will get only the archived alerts which have changed in this time.
