CNS Datapoint Structure, on Expansion Placement

Post by Tykes »

Hello y'all,

I'm currently running WinCC OA 3.15 patch 4, and have created a CNS structure to allow my database to be complied into a order.

The issue is the following, allowing my users to utilize the more cleaned up CNS structure in data point selection in the Trend object, we see the following..

Image(1.PNG) shows the user using the Plant Model tab and as we expand the view section, the Tree is presented correctly.
Image

Image(2.PNG) shows the user expanding the "System1.Circuit1:Status" data point to select an element, and the structs in the data point are then placed in the wrong path. Structs in the data point are then placed under System1, and the view Circuit 1, when it should only be presented underneath the datapoint status.

Is there anything more I can do, or a configuration is screwed up?

Thanks,

I have tested it using WinCC OA 3.15 + P008 on Windows 7.
The DP selector is showing the correct information when using the Plantmodel tab.

Can you observe the same problem when making a complete ASCII export (without using any of the filter options) for the data model and importing it into a new project?

Just for your information: It looks like configuring a CNS node for the trend is not possible at the moment.
Even if the CNS information is shown correctly the selected CNS node is used for the trend curve. This occurs for the configuration of the Variable Trend and also for the Trend Editor panel in GEDI.
These issues have been reported to our development department.

I've attempted applying it to a new project, and the data point select tab Plant Model still has the previous error. Also, tried the newest update P009 and it still has the same error.

Thanks,

In this case please get in contact with your common WinCC OA support. I do not know which is your contact to get support.
At the support request please add the config file of your project and the ASCII file.
Then they can try to reproduce the problem with your data.

For your information: The problem was analyzed and I have fixed the bug in the DP selector.
The bugfix will be part of the next patch for WinCC OA 3.15.
